This workbook is practical and purposeful. It meets a need identified in many diocesan consultations about what it means to be a disciple of the Lord as a member of the Church today and how the Church can continue to sustain and develop the involvement of all its members now and for the future. This workbook has been designed to support parishes as they consider significant changes that might need to be made when parishes share priests and resources. But it is more than that!
A shortage of priests may have been the stimulus for debate and consultation in many dioceses, however, these diocesan conversations are also part of the continuing process of active participation by all members of the Body of Christ in building God's kingdom here on earth.
